The updates to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP) have been a long-awaited litigation change today. The new amendment discusses spoilation and risks faced with spoliation sanctions. Zapproved’s webinar had a panel that provided its consumers with different perspectives on recent cases in light of the new rules. The panelists included James Francis, United States Magistrate Judge, Southern District of New York; William Butterfield, partner at Hausfeld; and Brian Corbin, vice president, assistant general counsel at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Moderating the discussion was Brad Harris, Vice President of Products at Zapproved.
The panelists moved to discuss the latest cases affected by Rule 37(e) changes. The cases discussed were:

- Nuvasive v. Madsen Medical
- Marten Transport v. Platform Advertising
