Matt McClelland is the Manager of the Information Governance Office at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC), where he oversees multiple Information Governance programs including Records and Lifecycle Management, Enterprise Content Management and e-Discovery. Matt is a member of the Information Governance Initiative Advisory Board and has recently been elected to the Society of American Archivists (SAA) 2015 – 2016 Steering Committee for Records Management that sets the direction for SAA sponsored Records Management initiatives. Prior to joining BCBSNC, Matt spent two years as the Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager at Bloodhound, Inc. working with medical insurance payers to identify, track, analyze and manage claims overpayments and reimbursements. Preceding his time at Bloodhound Matt spent 3 years as a Senior Software Developer at Amdocs, Inc. designing software for internal sales tracking and 3 years as Technical Sales Executive at Sound Structures of Virginia, Inc. engineering and designing structural blueprints for the Engineered Wood Division. Matt holds an undergraduate degree in Mathematics with an Economics minor from the University of Virginia.
