Dawn Radcliffe is the Legal Operations Manager for TransCanada Pipelines, Ltd., based in their Houston office. With more than 60 years experience and $60 billion in assets, TransCanada is a leader in the responsible development and reliable and safe operation of North American energy infrastructure.
In her role, Dawn manages discovery related processes and practices. She has extensive experience in litigation hold processes, procedures and technologies as well as project management. She routinely consults with legal teams consisting of in-house and outside counsel regarding the scope and management of large legal projects. She works closely with TransCanada’s IS and Business Information groups on issues related to data management and Information Governance. Other responsibilities include managing technology programs and resources, and developing strategic technology roadmaps, in particular for those systems and processes dedicated to the law department (e.g., discovery, legal hold, matter management, e-billing, document management, etc.)
Dawn has over 20 years legal experience, first as a Certified Legal Assistant and later transferring those skills to discovery project management in the vendor, law firm and corporate environments. Dawn is a founding member and active participant in the Houston Association of Litigation Support Managers, International Legal Technology Association City Representative for the Houston Chapter (ILTA), and a founding member of the Legal Project Management Community of Practice within the Project Management Institute.
